Misha Mengelberg No Idea
Misha Mengelberg was an important figur in European Jazz and Improvised Music. As a pianist and composer he set new standards by re-thinking the tradition of Jazz. As a founding member of the ICP Orchestra he is one of the important voices of Dutch Jazz Music. Misha Mengelberg died at 81 on Friday March 3rd 2017.

Rudy Van Gelder has worked with almost all great jazz musicians from the 60s and later. His recordings gave jazz a distinctive voice and were (his) a constant search for the perfect sound. The great sound engineer Rudy Van Gelder died at the age of 91 years in August 2016.
